  • Route Number in which you travel & your current location, including latitude & longitude information (GPS)

  • Your physical disabilities (if any)

  • Payment preferences, Wallet details and balance (if any)

  • Choice of co-passengers (if any)

  • Travel & route preferences (if any)

How will we use your data/ Legal basis for using the data


We require/collect the personal data to provide you our services as detailed below:

 

  • To prepare the database for routing purposes

  • Geo-coding of pickup/drop location

  • Prepare a transportation route list using all parameters

  • Transportation tracking purpose

  • Vehicle ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival), Alerts and SMS

  • Verification on automated IVR Help desk and making automated IVR calls for alerting and notification purposes

  • Online and offline communication for transport notification & alerts 

  • Sharing transport prices

  • Create personalised offers and add-on services, and thereafter their
    communication

  • We may periodically send emails about new implementations; product updates and offers and other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address or mobile number which you have provided.

Accuracy of Information Provided by Users

 

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided by you on the COCO Rides application is accurate, complete, and up to date. Nivaata shall not be held liable for any inconvenience, loss, or issues arising from false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information submitted by the user. In
case of any changes to your personal details, it is your responsibility to update the same through the app or by contacting our support team.

 

 

Data Retention:


We retain personal data as long as necessary to fulfil the services and to comply with legal obligations. After the retention period, data will be securely deleted or anonymized using appropriate methods, such as secure erasure or irreversible pseudonymization.

 

 

Data Storage:


The data shared by you will be stored in the Nivaata’s internal server which might be outside India where our cloud service providers operate.

 

 

Data Security:
Nivaata uses reasonable and appropriate security measures designed to protect the security of your data both online and offline. All systems used to support our business are built on industry standards and best practices such as the ISO 27001:2022, ISO 27701:2019 and SOC2 Type 2.

 

 

Data Sharing:

 

We disclose your personal data to our authorised service providers in limited circumstances in order to
provide the services and to other third parties if mandated by the applicable laws.
